In celebration of the ending of the HQ manga and in anticipation of the next season of the animation. We bring you; Devoted, a free digital zine project focusing on our favourite second year players and their year as team captain!
The fanzine will include fanart and fanfics along with Haikyuu merchandise. It is set for production in 2021!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a for-profit zine?
This is a free digital project, meaning there will be no exchanging of money at all. Neither moderators or contributors will be provided any monetary compensation. Once the project is finished it will be made available to the public for viewing!
Does the zine have a theme?
The zine is centered around the second year players on the volleyball teams and their year as captain!
Who are the zine mods?
We are a six-person team! Chelsea, Tyy, Aoi, Asteria, Rea and Kris.
What are contributor requirements?
Those applying as a contributor are expected to provide samples of their work in guidance to what the mods have outlined. No nsfw samples are permitted and one piece must be Haikyuu. If contributors are using Google Drive for submitting works, they are responsible for ensuring the link is set to Sharing. For more information please refer to our Application Guidelines page.
Do you have any guest contributors?
As of right now mods have no plans on inviting guest contributors.
When do contributor applications open?
Applications are open from September 20 to October 25.
Who is allowed to apply?
Everyone can apply! We are welcoming; writers, artists and merch designers. If you have any questions, please contact us. We are happy to answer any questions!
Can contributors apply for more then one position?
Yes! You are welcome to apply for multiple positions. Just be aware that if accepted, you will only be chosen for one position, selected at the discretion of the mods.
What are the maximum and minimum word count for writers?
Writers will be expected to writer a piece between 3.5k - 5.5k.
What merchandise will merch artists be expected to create?
Merch mods are planning to have for the zine are; wallpapers, backgrounds, icons, banners and print-at-home stickers.
Will all applicants be emailed results regardless of being rejected or accepted?
Yes, we will be notifying all who apply on the result of their application. We won't leave you hanging!
How many contributors will be allowed into the zine?
As of right now we are planning on accepting 10 writers, 10 artists and 5 merch artists. This may change based on the number of applications.
Will applicants be able to request critique on their application?

Application Guidelines
Contributor applications will be open from September 20 to October 25.
Before applying, please read through our requirements.
Do note when applying that as this is a safe-for-work project that nsfw samples will not be accepted. Additionally at least one of the pieces submitted must be a Haikyuu piece.
Artists:
Submit 3-5 pieces of art that best reflect your style. Moderators will be evaluating; colour, anatomy, background and composition. So give us your best!At least 2 of the works must be finished illustrations with full colour and backgrounds.Both digital and traditional art are acceptable, traditional artists be aware that scans must be of high quality.
Writers:
Submit 2-3 works that best reflect your writing ability. Moderators will be assessing; grammar, punctuation, characterization, plot and overall story flow.Each piece must not exceed 2 500 words. Submitted samples can be excerpts from larger works.The samples can be either published or unpublished.
Merch Artists:
Submit 3-5 pieces of artwork you feel best reflects your style. Moderators will be analyzing; colour, anatomy, composition and style. At least two samples must be merch work and one of these samples a finished and fully coloured piece.
